Just safely farming up is often the best way to play Twisted Fate. This means that you don't need to mechanically outplay your opponent in lane in order to get ahead in the game. You can essentially only farm minions and get a gold lead against your opponent. His passive Loaded Dice allows him to get a lot of extra gold without having to get kills. He abuses the fact that there is no communication between teammates. Because of this a lot of Korean pro players see Twisted Fate as the perfect soloq champion. For example you can ult on the enemy adc when he is greeding to farm an extra wave on his own. His global ultimate Destiny makes him a perfect soloq champion since he is able to abuse bad positioning from enemies very easily. You can be very creative when playing this champion in terms of roaming, wave management, splitting the map, playing front to back with your adc, or flanking and diving the enemy backline, etc. Most Twisted Fate players have a really good sense of macro which allows them to win games. Twisted Fate is a very unique champion in the sense that you don't have to be mechanically gifted to win games on him. Link to his stream and YouTube Since Dopa will be going on military service feel free to check out my own content. Try to look how he plays, when he bases, which items he buys, how he positions, when he ults. I personally learned a lot from watching dopa's stream. Watch high elo Twisted Fate players like myself play the game. There are alot of games where I don't even go top once, just because I feel like bot has more influence over winning the game. Don't feel like you have to help everyone out. Play for 1 carry and safe your ultimate to help them out. Its often better to ult botlane 6 times than to ult bot 3 times and top 3 times. This allows you to get a lot more XP and Gold while being able to use your ult to get back to your team in case a fight breaks out. Your ultimate allows you to split push in a sidelane. Don't permanently group with your team. Rewatch your own gameplay and question your decision making. Twisted Fate is a champion that requires great macro understanding so don't dwell too much on mechanical misplays. ONLY PUSH WHEN YOU: want to roam, ult or get prio for an objective. Pushing the wave in a bad matchup will put you in danger to get ganked. In bad matchups try to focus on last hitting and let the wave come to you. Improve your wave control so your opponent doesn't get the chance to freeze the lane on you. When you hit level 6 you will have everything you need to get rolling. The perfect first base would be at level 5, items you would buy are boots, dark seal, amplifying tome and a control ward. Time your recall so you have items when you are using your first ultimate. Getting a 1v1 kill is only possible if your opponent really misplays. Twisted Fate's kit isn't designed to 1v1 stomp your enemy like a Katarina, LeBlanc or Zed would do. Don't be centered on killing your opponent in lane. Try to get as much cs as you can without dying and play the map with your ultimate. There are very few matchups that Twisted Fate actually wins. Farming is a very important skill for a LoL player as it will be something you can rely on every game. A.K.A.- Try to get +7 cs/min (Twisted Fate's passive gives you more gold from minions). The removal of Ahead of the Curve, Cutting Edge, and the Chosen achievements.Pre-expansion content that will only be available from July 17 until the launch of Battle for Azeroth. The introduction of the new War Mode PVP system. All of your Artifact Traits will be gone, but relics will still add to the weapon’s item level. So, what are we getting (or losing) on Tuesday? So many changes, in fact, that I can’t guarantee the following list is comprehensive - but it should cover a lot of the important bits. Like most pre-patches, patch 8.0 is bringing a lot of changes. NA servers will go offline the morning of July 17, and when they come back up, we’ll be in a completely different world (of Warcraft). Battle for Azeroth’s pre-patch, World of Warcraft 8.0, is coming next week.
